This policy explains what information Shipwreck Games collects through this Site, how it's used, and who it's shared with. We're a small local game store in Forked River, NJ. We're not in the business of selling your data.

Information We Collect

Right now, the Site collects:
  • Contact form submissions: name, email, and whatever you write to us.
  • Local browser storage: your cart contents and light/dark theme choice, saved only in your own browser (not on our servers) so they're there next time you visit.
Once tournament sign-ups and gift cards go live, this will expand to include order details and, for paid transactions, whatever Stripe needs to process a payment (see "Third-Party Services" below).

How We Use It

We use contact form submissions to respond to your questions. Once accounts and orders are live, we'll use that information to run tournaments and fulfill orders, not for anything beyond running the store.

Cookies & Local Storage

The Site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to remember your cart and theme preference; that data stays on your device and isn't visible to us.

Third-Party Services

  • TCGPlayer Pro: our card-singles storefront is a separate site with its own privacy policy; anything you do there is covered by their terms, not ours.
  • Stripe: once online payments are enabled, Stripe processes them directly. We don't receive or store full card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts: the Site loads typefaces from Google's font service.
  • Facebook, Instagram, Discord: links out to our social pages, each governed by that platform's own policy.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, as needed to run the Site, or if required by law.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your Choices

You can clear your cart and theme data any time by clearing your browser's site data for this Site. To ask what information we hold from a contact form submission, or to request it be deleted, email us at Parley@shipwreckgamesnj.com.

We'll update the date above whenever this policy changes materially. Worth another read next time you're here if it's been a while.
