Trade-In Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Looking to sell or trade in cards and sealed product? Here's how it works and what we ask in return. See our Buylist for what we're currently buying.

How Trade-Ins Work

Bring what you'd like to sell in during store hours. Staff will look it over and make an offer based on current market value and condition, no appointment needed. You're always free to decline an offer and take your cards back.

Condition Requirements

Singles need to be genuine, unaltered, and free of water damage, warping, or writing. Heavily played or damaged cards may be offered a lower price or declined. Sealed product must be factory-sealed and undamaged; anything resealed, weighed, or showing signs of tampering will be declined.

Cash or Store Credit

You can choose cash or store credit for a trade-in. Store credit is typically offered at a better rate than cash, since it keeps things circulating in the shop; the exact split is posted in-store and can change with market conditions. Store credit doesn't expire and carries no dormancy or inactivity fees, consistent with New Jersey law.

Pricing

Offers are based on real-time market pricing at the time of your trade-in, so the same card can be worth more or less on a different day. Prices are set at our discretion and aren't negotiable, though we're always happy to explain how we got to a number.

Proof of Ownership

By trading cards in, you're confirming they're yours to sell. We reserve the right to decline any item, ask for ID, or refuse a trade-in we reasonably suspect is stolen, counterfeit, or altered, and to report suspected stolen goods to local law enforcement.

ID & Minors

A valid photo ID may be requested for a trade-in, especially for larger transactions. Trade-ins from players under 18 may require a parent or guardian present.

Final Sale

Once a trade-in is complete and cash or credit has been issued, it's final. We're not able to reverse a completed trade-in or buy back the exact cards at the trade-in price.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy, and the rates and categories we're buying, as the market and our inventory needs change. Check back here or ask in-store if you want the current terms before you bring cards in.
